¡Hola! Hi! Hello! ¡Muy buenas!
Greetings and salutations to you all. Do you feel welcome? I hope so. Good. Let’s dive in.
Whether you’re family, a friend, or a very lost websurfer, I’m super excited to share my adventures with you on this blog. In the case that you truly found this blog by chance, or you stalked me and we haven’t talked in ages, here’s the gist of what’s to come.
I’m moving to Madrid, Spain to teach English for 9 months! I’ve just graduated from Carleton College and am taking advantage of this next year to explore before locking in on the med school journey. I’m from a small town on the coast of Maine, where I’ve lived since I was five years old. My goal for this blog is that it can help people prepare for or navigate life in Spain as an English teacher, or allow me to stay in touch with friends and family. If any of this interests you, feel free to stick around! In hope of not losing anyone’s attention in the ‘About Me’ section, I’m going to sign off and leave you with a few pictures from this past few months to document where I’m at in life pre-gap year.
